FAQ

Do you write or edit my essay?
No. I give feedback, ask questions, and point out what isn't working — you do all the writing. Applications require you to certify the work is your own, and that certification has to be true. It's also better coaching: essays improve more when the writer does the work.
Can you guarantee I'll get in?
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying or selling something worse. Admissions decisions depend on far more than essays.
Are you affiliated with Penn admissions?
No. I'm an undergraduate at Wharton. I have no role in, or insight into, any university's admissions decisions.
What time zones do you work in?
Sessions run Monday–Thursday 7–11pm US Eastern and Saturday 8am–noon US Eastern. The Saturday block is afternoon and early evening across the Gulf, North Africa, and Europe. Weekday evenings work well for the Americas and East Asia. Booking shows every slot in your local time.
How fast is written feedback?
Within 72 hours, every time.
What languages do you coach in?
English only.
Do you help with school lists?
Yes, as part of the Complete Application package — reviewing a list you've built and talking through fit. I don't build lists from scratch.
Do you work on scholarship essays, transfers, or graduate applications?
No. Undergraduate applications to US universities only.
Will my parents be involved?
Yes. Parents are copied on scheduling and receive a summary after each session. The engagement is with the family, not privately with the student.
How many students do you take?
Twelve per cycle. When it's full, I stop taking students rather than reduce the quality of feedback.
What if I already have a finished draft?
Bring it to the intro call. Sometimes the answer is that it's in good shape and you need one session, not four. I'd rather tell you that.
How do I pay?
By card, in full, before the first session.
